We strive to provide the most accurate and flexible transcription service for the medical arts. Often the particular needs of an office have unique requirements. Type-thing Services will work to provide a customized procedure for transcribing that works for you and format your transcription as required. We understand the need for privacy and confidentiality in medical transcription; all drafts and interim copies are shredded before they are discarded.  We adhere to HIPAA requirements for information security and transfer of files over the Internet.

References used:	We use a number of standard references including PDR, medical dictionaries, electronic dictionary, medical references.  We can also use notes about your specific terminology, and appointment lists to produce a better product.
Rates:	Typically charged by the line or word. Certain secretarial support can charged by the hour. Repetitive "canned notes" negotiable based upon work performed.
