We are often asked about the cost of our transcription. For journalism, news media, and entertainment transcription, your total cost is often less and our overall value greater than our competitors. Here are a few reasons why:

•	For this domain, choice of verbatim transcription versus conversion of spoken English to written English depends upon the particular use of the transcript. We have experience in either approach, which helps us produce a more accurate and useful transcript for you.
•	Some video transcripts require timestamps on each page or section in order to allow editors to quickly locate a transcript passage on the video. We have experience providing these timestamps to make your job more efficient.
•	Transcribing group dialog or interactions can be a difficult process. We have the experience to know how to transcribe these recordings and untangle the participant dialog into an understandable transcript.
•	We can provide 24 hour to 48 hour turn around in some situations without additional cost including scheduled regular work. We can provide rush transcirption for other urgent work if we have enough capacity (at rush rates).
•	When we apply our secretarial skills to convert your documents into final form during the transcription process, you spend less of your time or no time trying to fix faulty transcription from over-seas or less capable services.
•	For volume customers, we may provide lower rates.
•	Audio quality for journalism and news media is usually very good; however, if your audio is of poor quality, we'll contact you before proceeding. We won't create and charge for a useless transcript of "indiscernibles" that you cannot use. If you want to proceed, we can attempt to enhance the audio or spend extra time working through the material slowly. Such work is difficult and fatigues the transcriptionist.
